Every person is unique. In therapy together, I will meet you where you are and help you through your personal journey. Think of me as a river rafting guide. As we approach rapids, I will help steer us through, but ultimately you decide where we go.

Brainspotting
Brainspotting targets the subcortical regions of your brain, in order to process trauma beneath the surface. We will track your field of vision to identify “frozen” spots—places where trauma has kept you from processing. Then, together, we will guide your mind and body through the process of releasing trauma by mindful awareness of where the trauma is located in your body. While processing, we will listen to bilateral sounds which allow you to go deeper into your psyche while feeling both calm and safe.

Narrative Therapy
The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem. What this means is that, in narrative therapy, we will identify what is holding you back, and come up with your version of where it occurs and what it means. Over the course of therapy we will identify where the problem takes place and where you feel strength to challenge it, as well as highlighting the times in your past in which you have challenged it. Your life is your story, and you deserve to write it.
